April Showers bring May Flowers

Here is my card for the Heart 2 Heart challenge: April Shower bring May Flowers.

At first I wanted to do "showers" because it's April, but then my best friend, Vicki (and consultant!) showed me how to make the flower stamp from the stamp set "Spring Up" dimensional. I love it! It was tricky to do and took some manuevering, but I love the look. After we made the flower, I decided on a Mother's Day card. I recently got Wishes with my hostess rewards, and used it for the first time! This is the "It's a Wrap" recipe. I used the small tulip from the "Solo S" stamp set to make my own paper for the top and bottom and the stem stamp from "Kindred Spirits" for the borders. The inks I used are Twilight, Buttercup, Sweet Leaf, Petal and Blush. I also inked the edges of the card in Twilight.
