Party Decorations

I really would like to start making party decorations for other families. I love making the decorations for my boys' parties and would love to make them for other families too. My concept is in the initial stages, so prices and packages are still under construction. I'm open to any advice or suggestions!

cupcake stand decorations

food signs

centerpieces

Basic Package: 12 invitations, 12 thank you cards, 24 cupcake toppers, and 1 banner for $25.00. I would prepare all of the items by hand and deliver or mail them to your house.

I'm developing additional packages and an a-la-carte menu too!

  

I'm up for trying anything new too, to make the party more personal to the theme or child. As a general rule, the more generic the theme, the more personal I can make it. For example if a girl wants a Superman party, it will be red and blue. But if she wants a generic superhero party, I can make it pink and purple or any color.

Phineas and Ferb Party

My bestie's kids had their birthday party over the weekend. I was in charge of the decorations for the Phineas and Ferb themed party. Of course I had never watched the show before! I quickly learned the important stuff and tried to make them the best Phineas and Ferb decorations ever! I made most of them in the two days before the party since moving took all of my time. Eek! I hope they enjoyed the party. I know my boys did!! I totally forgot to take any pictures until the end. Sorry the pics are bad!

 

I made cupcake toppers using characters I printed and cut out by hand. I made the blue circle on my Cricut.

 

I also made goodie bag tags that said "Best Party Ever".

 

Our awesome friend made the DELICIOUS cupcakes. OMG they were amazing! She made 3 kinds each with 2 kinds of icing, so I needed to eat 6 to taste them all. (I only ate 2, and really I ate the one I dropped icing down on the ground, so really, I only ate 1 and a half. hehe)

 

I also decorated a cupcake stand and made a cupcake-inator sign for the top.

 Here is the Happy Birthday sign. The picture is bad, but I think the sign is cute!

 

My baby is 3!

M is 3 years old today! I can't believe my boys are growing up. Don't get me wrong, I'm super happy they are getting more independent everyday, but I do love that M still wants to snuggle with me all the time. All too soon, he will be over snuggling with mommy. :)



Today we went to the park with friends for M's birthday. He LOVES to swing. He would swing the entire time if I let him. He can't pump himself yet though, so swinging does nothing to get all of his excess energy out! We had a great time at the park with friends. I was worried about getting rained out (I know, a crazy worry for this summer!), but the rain held off and it made it not super hot, which was nice. The boys actually wore jeans!



M requested a Cars party this year. I love making party decorations, so of couse I made them all. I did a simple banner that says "M is 3" (edited for privacy).



I also made this centerpiece using a tin can and scrapbook paper. I used shredded paper to fill the can and taped the cars and sign onto kabob sticks.

I also made cupcake toppers this year, which was my favorite part! They were super simple, but really made the theme complete.
